Where is your trust being put? I ask you today to think upon this question. I have asked you to put your trust in Me, but is that really where your trust is at? Is your trust on I, the one who created you and has given you My word that says I will do all things for those who follow Me and keep My ways and My commandments? Or are you still trusting on the things that only this world can give you hoping that I would just step in and provide through them, and allow Myself to only be seen through things of this world?
I want you to really ponder on these questions this day. I want you to really seek your hearts and look at your actions, and really take heed on how you think. There are many things of this world My children, that you put all your trust into without question and without doubt. You produce the labor and you expect to reap the benefits of your labor and expect nothing less. I ask you why would you not expect the same as you follow Me and do the works that I have asked you to do? I want you to really think about this.
In the world you seek after things that would assist you into getting the things that you need. You labor hard, study hard, and do whatever it takes to achieve your goal of getting what you want here on earth, and you are very confident that you will get the result on which you seek. However, you will not do this for Me, and you expect greater results then you were actually seeking. When the thing that you were seeking does not come fast enough for you, you decide to walk in doubt and unbelief and give up when what you wanted was actually right there at arm’s length ready to be grabbed. Why would you not put the same energy into the things of Me as you do the things of this world and expect greater results as I have promised you?
Today, I really want you to think about all the things that you really do put your trust into. You trust in your house to shelter you from the weather, the outside world and danger. You trust in your cars and traveling vehicles to get you where you are going safely and on time. You trust that the food you eat will keep you full and keep you healthy. You trust that you will get your paycheck if you do what is required to receive it. You go to any appointments that you are required to go to so that you get the advice or the result that you are seeking. The list goes on and on.
I want you to begin to truly trust Me as you trust these things. I am a God who truly answers and truly listens to you. I am a God that can perform miracles and provide all for you and will do it all for your good. I am a God full of love, mercy, and grace. I am not an item, a routine, or something to just accomplish. I am your creator. I am the master and ruler of all. I hold the entire world in the palm of My hand. Why will you not serve and trust in Me as you do this world?
I can provide in a supernatural way that the world could never provide for you. You need to concern yourselves with more than the natural realm of this earth. I want you to become trusting in Me so that not only will you be provided for in the natural realm, but in the spiritual realm as well.
I want you to trust Me to be your shelter and protector from the natural realm and of the spiritual realm. I want you to know that I will keep you safe where ever you may go where it is in an object or just walking down the street. I want you to trust Me that I will make sure that you will be healthy, for it was by My son’s stripes that He bore that will make you whole. I want you to trust Me that I will provide you with the food and water that you need, just as I have done for My people before. I want you to trust Me to come to Me and seek for My advice and instructions on what I want you to do and to follow to get you were you need to be. I want to do this for you, My children and more.
I want you to be able to walk in total faith knowing that I will give you what you need when you need it. I do not want you to doubt Me or to turn away because things do not happen fast enough for you. Even in the world, you do not give up that easily. You need to be more concerned of not only making sure you are provided for in the natural world but in the spiritual world as well. I want to be you provider for both. So I ask you again where is your trust really?
I want you to become as dedicated to Me and more than you are to the things of this world. You have allowed many things of this world to become your idols and putting your labor and trust in these things that can only give you a moment of pleasure or a moment of your needs to be met. You put all your trust and work into these things. You labor over all that is required and continue to do so to keep your human desires fulfilled. Because you have done this you allow the enemy to be your provider and he is able to do with you what you will. So My question would be why will you not do these things for My kingdom and following Me with the same trust or even greater than the trust you give the world?
I want you to begin today to truly put your trust in Me and become as dedicated to Me as you are to the things of this world. Allow Me to show you that, I, the Lord your God, can provide you more than this world could ever give you.
This world will come to an end, but with Me, your life will be eternal. Your rewards will be rewards of a place in My kingdom and will last forever. The world does not love you. I do love you. I am calling you this day to allow Me to take care of you the way that you really need to be taken care of.
You will see that if you would only trust Me as you did this world and do the things that I have given you with as much dedication that you put into all your labors of this world, you would reap many things. If you would give Me as much patience and trust knowing that the things that you are working for will truly happen without doubt or unbelief, you will understand just how prosperous I truly want you to be. You would begin to see the promises truly manifest themselves and you would not cut yourself short.
Give Me your trust today. Allow yourself to see that I want you to trust Me more than you do the things of this world and watch how much your life will change. Dedicate yourself and works to Me, and watch the harvest and fruits of your labors in My kingdom come into your life.
