My children, today I am asking of you to allow Me to pull out the weeds in your life that is choking out My spirit and destroying the works that I have done in your life. I want you to allow Me to get rid of those things that have been attaching themselves to you. These things you have become immune to seeing there and it has become blurry in the picture of what I am doing with you. It has become an oversight because the threat is not waving a flag nor is it drawing any attention to it, but it is doing lots of damage being undetected.
These things grow when you do things that you do not speak to Me about or you say out of My presence. They come in all forms. They come in forms of people, objects, nicknames, movies, and in very simple things as a thought or a feeling. The enemy will distract you so these things will get under your radar. As they have become a part of your life they have been growing roots and it has been wrapping itself around the seeds that I have been planting and it has been strangling them. It has caused you to lose the very thing that you know I have done for you and you cannot understand why you can’t hold onto it.
I want you to get into My presence and listen to My voice. I want you to allow Me to show you these things that have been growing and placed in your life to snuff out My Holy Spirit. I want you to allow Me to show you those things that have been lurking about and have been placed in your physical and spiritual homes as doorways and gateways to allow the enemy to come in and out as he wills. He has placed people in your life to continually place doubt, unbelief, and cause you to question Me and what I am doing.
I am asking you to allow Me to show you what the enemy has planned and what he has been doing in your life that you have been overlooking. I am asking you to really allow Me to shine the light, My light on those areas that have been sitting in the shadows undetected so that you can get rid of them once and for all.
I have been purging and refining you in all these processes because you need to get every door shut to the enemy so that you can move into My fullness. You need to allow Me to give you this wisdom on what is hiding, how to get rid of it, and how to keep it gone. You need to allow Me to show you the truth of what is going on and not allow these things to remain in your life. You need to become more aware of how the enemy is entering into your life.
Do not dismiss these little things that seem so harmless. They are not harmless and they are there for a purpose to be used to destroy you. Let Me take these things. Let Me show you what they are really doing and that it is time to let them go.
Let Me pull the weeds and destroy the very roots that have been cutting you off of My fullness of My spirit. Let Me wash over you My former and latter rain and wash you clean of all the things that have been lingering. Let Me bring things to completion by taking away the entry ways that have gone undetected by you. You will be very surprised what has been sitting right in front of you and you have not seen it.
Open yourself today and allow Me to do this work that needs to be done and receive the freedom from these things that have been stealing what I have been giving you and doing for you. Allow Me to continue the refining and purging process. Let Me get you completed so that you can go out and really begin to walk in the journey that I have set before you.
“Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.” (Mark 4:18-19)
“I went past the field of the sluggard, past the vineyard of the man who lacks judgment; thorns had come up everywhere, the ground was covered with weeds, and the stone wall was in ruins. I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw: A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest– and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man.” (Proverbs 24:30-34)
“Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thorn bushes, or grapes from briers.” (Luke 6:44)
“They make many promises, take false oaths and make agreements; therefore lawsuits spring up like poisonous weeds in a plowed field.” (Hosea 10:4)
“Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ ” ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ ” ‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’ ” (Matthew 13:24-30)
