Today, I want you to look up at Me. I want you to focus on the things that I have for you today. Let everything go that is weighing you down, and give it to Me. Do not allow the enemy to cause you to lose your joy and stop you from celebrating the birth of My son. Do not allow the enemy to stop you from enjoying the miracle that I gave you a long time ago, to save you, and give you a chance to come into My kingdom. Do not allow the enemy to boggle your mind with the should of, could of, and would of. Allow today to be just about today. Do not allow you guard to be down and to open the door to anything that the enemy may and will throw at you today to stop you from getting all that I want you to get out of the few day ahead.
As you begin to get ready to gather with family and loved ones, do not forget to invite Me into your celebration. Do not allow My son to be forgotten as you sit around and talk about the things that you have been enjoying and enduring this year. I want you to share about all the blessings big and small that I have given you. I want you to share all the things that you are grateful to have. I want you to share the things that you have learned from your tests and trials that you have faced. I want you to share the hope that I have given you to share. I want you to share the love that I have given you to share.
Too many times, My children, during these celebrations, the reason for the celebration is altered and not focused on the things it should be focused on. It ends up losing the true meaning behind what you are really celebrating. It is time to keep the focus and be about what I am asking you to do.
I want you to understand it is not physical things that you and your family and loved ones need at this time. It is the supernatural things that they need and the spiritual things that I have for them that they need. They need to understand that it is through My son that they can come to Me. It is time for everyone to see Me and My son through you. It is time for you to walk in the ways that I have been teaching you to walk. I want you to enjoy this day no matter what you are doing, but keep Me first in all you do.
I want you to really enjoy yourself and one another as you celebrate this wonderful season. The birth was the start of the most wonderful gift that I could have given you. Do not let this gift be forgotten and put on a shelf. Do not be ashamed of whom child you are. You are My child. I am asking you to allow your light to shine so that those around you may be able to follow that light and come to accept My son as their Lord and savior. I want you to shine as bright as the star that was in the sky that lead others to where My son was born. I want you to be the light to show the lost and dying where they can find My son and become reborn in Him.
Do not let this time that I have given you go to waste. Do not allow the enemy to get you to open doors and catch you off guard. There are many things that I want to accomplish in these next few days and the enemy is working overtime to destroy the works and plans that I am bringing forth. Remember to cover yourself in the armor that I have given you. Remember to walk in the ways that I have taught you and share with those around you all that I have given you.
Today, be the gift that I need you to be to others. As you prepare the last things that you will be preparing today, do them out of pure love and with a joyful heart. Let this be a time to give to others the greatest gift you can possibly give them and that is a light to the path to come to Me through My son, Jesus. Celebrate this joyous time and occasion and keep the focus strong. Make sure you do not become distracted and let yourself also receive all that I have for you this day.
