My children, I am asking you this day to go on a fast for today. Not a fast of food, for what I am going to ask you will be more difficult than to give up a meal. I want you to fast your thoughts of others and of their mistakes and wrongs. I want you today to put these thoughts away from you. For I have begun the work that you have asked Me, but I want you to see that this day there is still many works to be done and not much time to get it done.
As you fast these thoughts and when they come up, immediately return your focus upon Me and give these thoughts to Me.
You ask, “How am I to fast these thoughts?” To fast these thoughts, this is what I am requiring you to do. If you have a thought about someone’s mistakes, or someone’s failure, or how differently you would have handled things, or I will never do what that person is doing, and so on, I want you to bring your attention back upon Me. I want you to say, “Lord, this thought has come forth, and I am asking you to take it from me.” And then give it to me and focus on praising Me and on the good things that is going on around you.
Now this is not going to be something that will come easy, for you will see how much the mind is focused on others‘ faults and problems, especially when they do you wrong. But I am telling you this day, this is what I am asking of you. For the mind is in a process of being reconstructed and renewed in Me. To continue this process it will take your cooperation to be willing to do what I ask you to do no matter how different and strange it may seem.
This I am asking you to do also because it will show you just how much your mind does need this work to be done. For many thoughts cross your path that needs to be brought straight to Me and as you get into the habit of doing this these thoughts will become no more.
I am asking you to take this step in faith in Me and do what I am asking you to do by asking you to fast these thoughts and redirect your attention to Me and being in My presence today. I want you to redirect your thoughts to see the good in all those around you. For the enemy knows that as long as you focus on the bad in others and in the things around you; the love, peace, and joy cannot grow until these things are redirected and refocused in Me and to the good.
This day I am asking you to do a strange and hard thing, but I am asking you to be obedient and do these things. Fast your wrong thoughts about others, fast your self-righteous mindsets, and allow Me to be your main focus today and allow Me to show you the good that is around you and in other people. This is another step in allowing the love that I have planted inside of you to grow.
My children, I want you to know that I know you can do this thing this day, no matter how hard it may be. For you can do this and overcome all the thoughts of evil, wrong, and of the enemy. For it is time to get life back into your mind and in your thoughts. The only way you are going to accomplish getting life back into your mind and thoughts is to refocus them on Me and of the good that I can show you that is all around you.
Fast these thoughts to Me this day and allow Me to bring life into your thoughts and into your mind and it will then travel right to your heart. As you do this you will have another piece of the puzzle on how to love one another as I want you to do.
