My children, why do you question Me about what I can do and what I have called you to do? You have forgotten all the things I have done for you, with you and through you. So much has been too easily forgotten. You have lived on fast and instant gratification but you have not allowed My blessings, works, and the things I have done for you to take root. You have not watered the seeds I have planted or allowed them to bear fruit for you and to be shared with others.
You allow these things to fade in your memory the moment things get harder, the clouds get thick, and the storm rages around you. As soon as the hype wears off, the goodness wears off, you allow it to fade and be forgotten. This is not what My blessing and promises that come to pass should produce. They are to be remembered, shared and used to help others. They are to keep you from walking in doubt and unbelief.
I have proven to you over and over that I do what I say. I come through but you still hold on to your own understanding, your own will and your own thoughts. You do not trust Me like you should. You still do not hold onto what I have given you to strengthen and gird you up. You fail to continue to stand on the foundations that I have given you. Do not dismiss what I have already done but use it as food to grow on and allow your faith to build up into a tower of strength so that you can overcome every fleshly imagination, thought, and understanding.
You will be able to just know that I can and will do all that I said. You will realize that you can trust Me and if I have asked you to do something, I will equip you for it. You will not fail at the task that I have given you. You need to get to the place where you have looked at all I have done and know that I will do the greater things. You need to appreciate all that I have done and not take it for granted anymore.
There is going to come a time of darkness, where you are going to have to know that I am who I am. You will have to understand that I am all that I say and have shown you. Your faith must be strong and your love for Me cannot waver. I have given tasks and assignments that you have not accomplished yet. You decided that you were not sure if it was something you wanted to take on or you don’t want to do them at all.
You need to understand that when you said, “Lord use Me.” It meant that I can and will use you in all things and in every way that is according to My plan for your life. This means the good and the bad, the easy and the hard. I will not give you more than you can handle and I have proven this, yet you still do not trust Me. You still take for granted that I will keep proving Myself.
I want you to know that I will not bless disobedient, spoiled and ungrateful children. I want to bless and use you but you must be obedient in all things and not expect Me to come through without doing your part.
It is time to finish the things that I have asked of you so that you can move on to the bigger things that I have ahead for you. In order to do this you must learn from what I have been doing with you and hold onto what I have done, knowing that I will continue to do it as you are obedient.
So today, I want you to really look at all that I have done for you, both small and great. I want you water and tend to these things so they will produce fruit in your life that you can share with others. I want you to put your full trust in Me and not allow your flesh to take you down a twisting road of world things, desires, and understanding. You need to quit worrying about understanding everything and just do, knowing that I am the God that always pulls through and brings to fruition all that I promise.
Today I want you to allow your faith and trust in Me to grow. Get rid of the doubt and unbelief and watch what else I will do with and through you. Obedience My little ones is the key. Let’s buckle down and complete the projects we have started together quickly. Then I can bring you up into the heavenly places and onto the bigger things that you and I are going to do. With complete trust in Me that you will be able to do it. Trust in Me and do not forget what I have done for you because I will also do it for others and they need to hear this. Know that you cannot leave one assignment unfinished to go to another. Each piece needs to be completed. This happens when you buckle down and trust Me and allow what you are learning to teach and strengthen you for the next assignment ahead of you.
“Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied. Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about.” Early the next morning Abraham got up and saddled his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about. On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance. He said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.” Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together, Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?” “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together. When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But the angel of the LORD called out to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied. “Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.” Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.” (Genesis 22:1-14, NIV)
“They were helped in fighting them, and God handed the Hagrites and all their allies over to them, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him.” (1 Chronicles 5:20)
“Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.” (Psalm 9:10)
“Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD’s unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him.” (Psalm 32:10)
“Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.” (Psalm 37:3-6)
“The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The LORD is with me; he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.” (Psalm 118:6-9)
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
“This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD. He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. “But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:5-8)
“After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone, but the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” (Matthew 14:23-33)
